The Driftwood

This is our second home.  It is located in a beautiful, remote, serene, northern California coastline setting.  We have private access to the northern-most stretch of Manchester State Beach minutes from our door. The home is in a community called Irish Beach 30 minutes south of the famous and stunningly unique city of Mendocino.  Our home has two bedrooms and a large loft, 1& 3/4 bath, and wonderful prairie and mountain views.  A cocktail can be enjoyed while enjoying ocean views on our roof deck, accessed by a spiral stair.  It is a petite(1200 sq.ft.), but an adequate home offering luxuries such as an outdoor shower, towel and floor heating, and whirlpool bath.  Three words to describe this home: beauty, peace, quiet.

Activities nearby include golf, horseback riding, canoeing, wild animal refuge, skunk train, botanical gardens, art galleries and museums, hiking, biking, movie theatres, and of course beach combing where sea glass is often found.
Unfortunately, only children over 15 allowed and no pets.  There isn’t any cable, satelite access, telephone service, computers in this home.  However, there are televisions/dvd, Bose ipod system, and a WII on site.
